Daily: Before leaving each day:-

Run ACCPAC Plus - Data Care from Softrak
This will :- check the Accounting data - produce an error report

Next morning:

• Check the Computer screen to determine if the Accounting data is good.
  
• Print off the Data Care Error report and check it
  
• Remove the tape backup and put next days tape in.
  
• If the data and backup is OK then smile.
  
• If there is a problem with the tape backup, then (Backup the hard drive manually)
  

If the Accounting data has a problem:
- Call us
- The Accounting data will need to be repaired or restored

Tape rotation:
The tapes should be labeled Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri1, Fri2, Fri3, Fri4, Fr5 Each day , use that day's tape.

Each Monday: send the Friday's tape Off site return the last Friday tape Label the daily tape used on the last day of the month as "month end" and the date Replace that daily-tape with a new tape.
